TWO SIMPLE
Dallas-Based Uni-Sex Luxury Streetwear
Two Simple is a Dallas-based uni-sex luxury streetwear brand founded in 2015. Tamir Buchanan is the Creative Director and founder of Two Simple. The brand creates clothing at the intersection of luxury, streetwear, culture, and personal storytelling, with collections built around more than what looks good — there is usually a deeper idea, emotion, or story behind them.
Two Simple designs all pieces in Dallas, with production in Los Angeles and international production in Portugal depending on the collection or item. At its core, Tamir describes Two Simple as creating things that have meaning while still being wearable, elevated, and culturally relevant.
Creating Something of His Own
Two Simple started in 2015. The original idea came from Tamir wanting to create something that was completely his own — like his oldest brother and his friends had when they were in high school. He wanted to combine his creativity, fashion, design, and the things he was experiencing personally into one platform.
At first, it was about experimenting and figuring things out. As he continued creating, Tamir realized the brand could become much bigger than just making clothes. It could become a way to tell stories and communicate ideas that he could not necessarily express any other way.
“I think I really started taking Two Simple seriously in 2023 when my mom passed. That collection ‘From The Southside With Love’ I realized that I wasn't just designing clothes anymore. I was building a world around the brand. My real world.”

Two Simple. Thoughts Worth Owning.
The name Two Simple originally came from Tamir's favorite number and the idea of keeping things simple — twice as much detail on simple garments and silhouettes, taking something complicated and finding a way to make it understandable, wearable, and relatable.
Over time, the meaning evolved with the brand. Two Simple became connected to the idea of T.W.O. — “Thoughts Worth Owning.”
“To me, Two Simple is about owning your thoughts, your story, your mistakes, your ideas, and ultimately who you are.”
For the People
Tamir is creating Two Simple for the people — people who see clothing as more than just clothing. He wants to connect with people who are ambitious, creative, independent, and willing to think differently; people who have their own story and are not necessarily interested in following whatever everyone else is doing.
Whether someone connects with the message, the design, the quality, or simply the feeling they get when they wear the clothes, Tamir wants them to feel like they are part of something.

The Storytelling
When Tamir explains what makes Two Simple his, the biggest thing is the storytelling. He is very involved in every part of the creative process — from the concept behind a collection to the graphics, photography, styling, marketing, and how the product is presented. He wants everything to feel intentional.
A lot of the brand comes from things he has personally experienced or observed: family, relationships, ambition, failure, mental health, culture, faith, and life in general.
The collections can look completely different from one another, but there is always a thought behind them. Tamir is not interested in making something simply because it is trending. He wants someone to be able to look at a Two Simple piece years later and still understand why it exists.
Believing in the Vision
The hardest part has been continuing to believe in the vision when the outside results do not always come as quickly as expected. Building a clothing brand has required Tamir to wear a lot of different hats: creative director, designer, marketer, salesperson, strategist, and sometimes the person packing orders and figuring out problems behind the scenes.
There have been moments when he has questioned whether he should keep going. But he comes back to the same thing: he knows what he is capable of creating, and he knows the vision he has for Two Simple. He has continued building it since 2015, and every setback has taught him something he would not have learned if he had quit.
When It Started to Feel Real
For Tamir, it has been seeing people wear the brand without him having to explain what it is. When someone recognizes Two Simple, buys a piece, says they have seen the brand's content, comes back for another collection, or tells someone else about the brand, that is when it feels real.
Another big moment has been seeing the brand create opportunities beyond just selling clothing — collaborations, partnerships, pop-ups, and opportunities to work with organizations and companies he respects. That is when Tamir started seeing that Two Simple could become more than a clothing brand.

FIELD by TWO SIMPLE
Two Simple is continuing to expand through new collections, collaborations, and experiences. The brand is also developing FIELD by TWO SIMPLE, which focuses on the intersection of fashion, sports, and culture.
Two Simple is currently collaborating with the Dallas Polo Club, where the brand will be the official outfitter for its upcoming uniforms. The collection will be showcased at The Polo Experience on October 17, bringing together fashion, polo, culture, and the Two Simple brand experience.

As Big as God Wants It to Be
“I want Two Simple to become as big as God wants it to be.”
Whether that is a globally recognized brand or not, Tamir wants Two Simple to grow without losing the identity that made it special in the first place.
Success is not just having a certain number of sales or stores. Tamir wants Two Simple to become a platform that people recognize for its creativity, storytelling, quality, and culture. He would love to see the brand represented internationally, have flagship spaces, collaborate with major organizations and creatives, and eventually build experiences that go far beyond clothing.
Ultimately, he wants someone to see the Two Simple name and immediately know that there is a story behind it.
Don’t Confuse Being Early With Being Unsuccessful
The biggest thing Tamir has learned is that you cannot wait for everything to be perfect before you start. You have to be willing to figure things out while you are moving. He has had to learn things he never expected to learn, make mistakes, take opportunities that were outside of his comfort zone, and keep showing up even when nobody was paying attention.
“Don't confuse being early with being unsuccessful.”
