Creator Brand Content Audit Scorecard: 30 Points to Fix Before You Post More

Creator Brand Content Audit Scorecard: 30 Points to Fix Before You Post More

More posts do not automatically create a stronger brand. Before increasing output, audit whether your content makes the business easier to recognize, understand and act on. This 30-point scorecard turns that review into a repeatable system.

Score each item 0 if missing, 1 if inconsistent and 2 if clear and repeatable. Maximum score: 60 points.

How to read your score

50–60: strong content system; focus on testing and distribution.
38–49: functional but inconsistent; repair the lowest category first.
24–37: content is being produced without enough brand infrastructure.
0–23: clarify the offer, identity and customer path before increasing volume.

1. Positioning and profile clarity — 10 points

  1. Your profile states what you create, sell or help people do.
  2. A new visitor can identify the intended audience quickly.
  3. Your profile image is recognizable at small size.
  4. Your bio contains a useful next step rather than vague filler.
  5. The primary link sends visitors to a current, intentional destination.

2. Visual identity — 10 points

  1. Logo usage is consistent across profile, website and campaign assets.
  2. Typography follows a repeatable system.
  3. Color choices feel intentional rather than changing randomly by post.
  4. Photography and graphics share a recognizable visual direction.
  5. Templates support the identity without making every post look identical.

If this category scores low, work through the Brand Style Guide Checklist before building more templates.

3. Content mix — 10 points

  1. Your feed shows the product, service or work clearly.
  2. You publish proof: finished projects, outcomes, testimonials or documented work where available.
  3. You publish useful educational or process content.
  4. You publish brand-building material that communicates point of view and identity.
  5. Your last 12 posts are not all trying to perform the same job.

4. Production quality and platform fit — 10 points

  1. Vertical video is actually composed for a vertical screen rather than awkwardly cropped from landscape.
  2. Important text and subjects remain readable on a phone.
  3. Video exports are sharp enough to avoid obvious blur or pixelation.
  4. Audio and spoken content are understandable where sound is part of the concept.
  5. Every shoot produces multiple usable assets instead of one isolated post.

Platform fit matters. TikTok’s current business guidance continues to emphasize full-screen 9:16 creative, and its current API guidance recommends at least 720 × 1280 for TikTok placement. Treat those as production references, not a reason to blindly repost the exact same creative everywhere. Source: TikTok For Business and TikTok API for Business.

5. Messaging and calls to action — 10 points

  1. Captions add context rather than repeating the graphic.
  2. Product/service language is specific enough to understand the offer.
  3. Calls to action match the post’s purpose.
  4. You are not asking for a sale in every post.
  5. When you do ask for action, the next step is obvious.

6. Conversion path and measurement — 10 points

  1. Links in older high-traffic posts and profiles still point to live pages.
  2. Landing pages visually match the content that sends visitors there.
  3. Products and services mentioned in content can be found without hunting.
  4. You track at least a small set of meaningful outcomes such as qualified inquiries, email signups, product views or purchases.
  5. You review performance and change future content based on evidence rather than posting only from habit.

Turn the score into a 30-day repair plan

Do not try to fix all 30 points at once. Circle the five lowest-scoring items. Assign one concrete change to each, give it an owner and deadline, then audit again after 30 days. If production itself is the bottleneck, use the Creator Content Production Brief Template to organize the next shoot and the Creator Content Size Guide for export planning.
